The area around Poolewe is home to a wide variety of mushrooms and edible fungi. If you want to learn more about which types you can safely eat and which you should avoid, then take the opportunity to accompany our mushroom expert, Richard Peebles to some of our most scenic local beauty spots and you can both widen your knowledge and taste the fruits of your forage on your return. Chef, John Moir will invite guests to the kitchen where he will demonstrate the best ways to prepare the mushrooms.
The cost of this is £700 for two days inclusive of dinner, bed, breakfast, packed lunch and full day forage with the expert. Own transport is required to visit the mushroom locations. Please remember to pack your sturdy shoes or walking boots and bring a waterproof jacket.
Arrive Tuesday 28th September. The forage will take place on Wednesday 29th September.
